So after a long and a very hot summer which if you knew me I dread the summers in the south. It seems while people who suffer from depression suffer the most in the winter am just the opposite. So I seek the misty cold mornings to comfort me but this summer was even harder due to some personal reasons I will not go into but the thought of doing a exhibition by the first of September is something I could not imagine was possiable as my creativity and drive was hammered down by the heaviness of life.

So the only creative outlet I could seem to do is what I do throughout the year no matter what and that is to write and draw out ideas andd thoughts that could be art pieces. What I was not prepared for is that these intimate drawings and notes in fact would be the exhibition itself. How life and art works itself out when it is meant for you to do. So I gave these drawnings and such a name “BIRTHMARKS” since they are the beginning to and end in many ways.

So there you go my part of a two artist exhibition entitled “TO PONDER BETWEEN” was born and the show will go on and my part i will be exposing the seeds to my creations a part of my process which i consider very intimate and personal and this time thye are in fact the finished pieces of art at least for the show :)
